Academic Career
Since 1993 he has worked in the Faculty of Law of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in the area of Business Law.
From 2003 to 2005 he held a research grant in Business Law at the Faculty of Law at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, with a Research Project entitled: The Reform of Company Law and the Limited Liability Company.
He was Researcher of Business Law at the University of Bologna from 2007 to 2014.
He has been Associate Professor of Business Law in that University since 2014.
Didactic Activity
After working as a teaching collaborator in Insolvency Law in the Faculty of Economics and Business (at the Rimini University) from the academic year 2002/2003 until 2007/2008, he taught Business Law in the same Faculty.
From the academic year 2001/2002 to academic year 2015/2016 he taught the School of Specialization for the Legal Profession of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia teaching Business Law and Insolvency Law.
Since the academic year 2009/2010 he has taught Business Law and Financial Market Law in the School of Specialization for the Legal Profession “Enrico Redenti” of the University of Bologna.
Since the academic year 2007/2008 he has taught Business Law, Financial Markets Law and Insolvency Law in the School of Law at the University of Bologna.
Scientific Activity
He was a member of the Research Group of the Faculty of Law of University of Trento for the Project of Significant National Interest (co-financed by MIUR; PRIN 2006), coordinated by Professor Giovanni Tantini which has as its object on the topic “General Clauses and Protection of the Rights of the Members and the Shareholders Minorities”.
He was a member of the Research Project “El tratamiento de las sociedades de capital cerradas en la evolución legislativa de la Unión Europea y de las legislaciones nacionales de los Estados miembros” (Ref.: DER2010-21436) sponsored by the University Rey Juan Carlos of Madrid.
He is member of the Research Project (2016/2017) “The regulation of capital companies in Europe: towards the creation of a draft common frame of reference to facilitate the internationalization of SMEs” sponsored by the University Rey Juan Carlos of Madrid.
He is member of the Research Project (2016/2017) “Treatment of Executory Contracts in Insolvency Law: a Comparative Study” sponsored by the City University of London.
He regulary participates in conferences, presenting papers on the topic of Business, Financial Markets, Insolvency and Arbitration Law.
He is the author of several publications in the areas of Business, Financial Markets, Insolvency and Arbitration Law.
