Full Professor of Econometrics at the University of Bologna, with over thirty years of experience in applied macroeconomics, econometric modelling, and forecasting. He has led research projects on macroeconomic scenario analysis and business cycle monitoring, including the development and application of large-scale econometric models. Roberto Golinelli has contributed to major European Commission research initiatives and regularly collaborates with institutions such as ISTAT, the Bank of Italy, and the Parliamentary Budget Office. His research on forecasting, business cycles, and uncertainty indices has been published in leading journals, including Economica, European Economic Review, International Journal of Forecasting, Journal of Corporate Finance and Oxford Economic Papers. He is a Fellow of the Euro Area Business Cycle Network and serves on the editorial boards of several international journals in econometrics and quantitative finance.
