My research focuses on fundamental aspects of the gravitational interaction and quantum aspects of the gravitational collapse and black hole formation and evolution. I am also interested in cosmology and alternative theories of gravity to describe the quantum state of the Universe, Dark Energy, the
bounce and Dark Matter phenomenology. Some approaches to these issues are the
horizon quantum mechanics and
generalised uncertainty principles, the
bootstrapped Newtonian gravity, coherent quantum states and the
Wheeler-DeWitt equation to describe solutions of the Einstein equations, the
minimal geometric deformations to generate new self-gravitating configurations.
