Roberta Guerra

Assistant Professor at the Department of Physics and Astronomy “Augusto Righi” of the University of Bologna, she is qualified as Associate Professor PHYS-06/A (ASN 2025–2037). Specializing in sedimentary geochemistry and marine biogeochemistry, her scientific work focuses on studying anthropogenic impacts and climate change in coastal and oceanic environments, from the Mediterranean to the Arctic. Chief Scientist for an Arctic field campaign and coordinator of international collaborations, she participates in strategic projects such as LIFE CLIMAX-PO and various EU COST Actions (e.g., EUROBIG, OceanGov). She actively supervises Ph.D. students and researchers within international mobility programs and is the author of numerous scientific publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
