Riccardo Rubini, who was born in Bologna on July 11, 1965 is Full Professor of Applied Mechanics at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Degree in Mechanical Engineering
from the University of Bologna, he received the title of ph.d degree in Applied Mechanics at the same university. Already Fellow at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear, Aviation and Metallurgy (DIEM) and at the Laboratory Diagnostic Heuristique et des systèmes complexes (HEUDIASYC) Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC-France), was Assistant Professor at the University of Bologna, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. He is member of the Italian Association of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics
(AIMETA), the International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and Machine Science (IFToMM) and the Italian Society of Clinical Movement Analysis (SIAMOC). Since 2018 he has been president of the bachelor's and master's degree courses in Mechatronic Engineering of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
