Research fellow at the Department of Architecture, University of Bologna since 2023 with the PNRR Ecosister project, focusing on the themes of ecological transition in urban contexts, adaptive and transformative design. An expert in spatial dynamics and urban development with a particular focus on landscape, he works on civic engagement, environmental education, facilitation and participatory design in different contexts.
Education
Master's degree in Geography and Territorial Processes from the University of Bologna with a thesis on the role of public green spaces in the historic city in 2012, three-year degree in Anthropological Sciences he refines his skills with a professional diploma as a Green Technician at the City of Milan's Arte&Messaggio School.
Teaching activities
He has been carrying out tutoring activities for students of the international master's degree program CPCL - Architecture and Creative Practices for the City and Landscape, in the workshop of Structuring the City by Design together with Prof. Valentina Orioli since A.Y. 2023/24.
Over the years he has repeatedly been involved in the organization and coordination of several educational workshops, aimed at both the university and school community, delving into the techniques of temporary and transitional urbanism and the processes of self-construction.
He has been involved for several years in training within CFP - Profesional Training Centers of the Metropolitan City of Milan.
Scientific activity
He carries out his research activities within the TRACE group of the Department of Architecture of the University of Bologna and collaborates in the activities of ADU - Advanced Design Unit of the same university.
Other activities
For several years he worked as a project manager within ANTARTIDE - Center for Environmental Studies and Communication in Bologna, developing projects related to urban landscape transformations, sustainability education and environmental communication.
