Born in Reggio Emilia, Italy, in 1990.

He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Astronomy in 2013 and a Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering in 2016, both at the University of Bologna.

In 2021 he defended his PhD thesis called Orbit determination techniques for space missions towards small bodies, which focused on the reconstruction of the heliocentric orbit of comet 67P using radiometric data collected by the Rosetta mission.

Since 2021 he has been a Research Fellow at the Radioscience and Planetary Exploration Laboratory of the University of Bologna, working on simulation and data analysis for space exploration missions such as Hera, BepiColombo, and Gaia, for which he is co-author of several peer-reviewed publications.

Since 2022 he collaborates with the Flight Dynamics team of the European Space Operations Center (ESOC) for the development of orbit determination tools for the Hera mission.
