Riccardo Gasco is a Ph.D. candidate in Political and Social Sciences at the University of Bologna since 2022, conducting research in the field of International Relations. His research interests are primarily focused on Turkey's foreign policy, the behavior of middle powers in the international arena, and Turkey's relations with NATO and Russia. His current doctoral project aims to analyze the foreign policy behavior of an emerging middle power, with a particular emphasis on the case of Turkey.
Educational Background
He earned a Bachelor's degree in Diplomatic Sciences and International Relations from the University of Genoa in 2020, followed by a Master's degree in International and Diplomatic Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London (SOAS).
Research Projects
From 2022 to 2023, he worked as a researcher for the University of Bologna on the project "Rethinking arts for cohesion, trust, and inclusion (REACTIN)," funded by the European Commission.
