The main research interests concern the use of LiDAR and remote sensing data, cultural heritage conservation, urban heat islands (UHI), urban morphology studies, and applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
She has participated in interdisciplinary projects, including the application of point cloud segmentation algorithms for the automatic extraction of buildings and trees from aerial and drone-based LiDAR data, with the aim of improving geospatial analysis and remote sensing applications.
She continues her research by exploring innovative methodologies for integrating artificial intelligence and remote sensing in the fields of archaeological research, heritage conservation, and urban environmental studies.
