I received my B.S. degree in Geography and M.S. degree in Environmental Science from the University of the Philippines Diliman in 2011 and 2018. Furthermore, I have obtained an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Water and Coastal Management (WACOMA) from the following universities - University of Bologna - Ravenna, University of Cadiz (Spain), and University of the Algarve (Portugal) in 2022.
My research interests include remote sensing applications in forest, riverine, coastal, and wetland environments using optical earth observation, aerial LiDAR, and UAV data. My current research topic focuses on assessing the effects of climate variability on wetland environments through an integrated approach of remote sensing, hydrogeological and ecological modelling. My supervisor and co-supervisor are Prof. Beatrice Maria Sole Giambastiani and Prof. Sonia Silvestri.
