Prem Sundaramoorthy’s latest affiliation was with the Delft University of Technology as a lecturer and researcher at the Space Systems Engineering group. Prem has supported in the systems engineering of in-house satellite projects and was the systems engineer for the winning ESA sponsored feasibility study involving CubeSat missions for lunar exploration (LUMIO). He was the course responsible for the graduate-level core course on micro-satellite engineering which discusses mission design and spacecraft development in the context of small satellites. Prem has also been involved in the development and conduction of various graduate and under-graduate courses at the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering in TU Delft. He has supervised various MSc. Thesis in the area of space technology, miniaturization and distributed space systems. Before his stint in the Netherlands, Prem worked as a Scientist at the Defence Research and Development Organization of India, where he was involved with the system design and integration of Unmanned Air Vehicles. His current research interests include distributed space systems and system design of small satellites.
