Pier Luigi
Ribani was born in Bologna (Italy) on 1957.
He took his degree in Nuclear Engineering at Bologna University on
october 1982, cum laude, with a thesis on "Force analysis during
faults in Tokamak". He was graduated technicians at the Department
of Electrical Engineering of the University Bologna from 1987 to
1990 and researcher, in the same department, from 1990 to 1998.
Since 1998 till to now he is associate professor at the Department
of Electrical Engineering. His main reasearch activity include the
modeling of electromagnetic systems and device and applied
superconductivity. He was involved in many national and
international research project.
