Description:: The Cord Blood Bank of Emilia-Romagna (ERBC) and the Regional Bank of Cardiovascular Tissues (BTCV) and Parathyroid Tissue and the Regional Gamete Bank are structures accredited by the National Transplant Center (CNT) and the National Blood Center (CNS) . ERCB also obtained accreditation from the International Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT). The research collaboration concerns the characterization and use of blood components (eye drops, PRP, platelet gel) from cord blood, for topical use, for the treatment of ocular diseases.

Vision Lab is authorized by the Ministry of Health, Directorate General of Animal Health and Veterinary Medicines to perform neuroprotection experiments, with specific reference to the tissues of the visual apparatus, performed in accordance with the ARVO guidelines ( Association in Research in Vision and Ophthalmology) provided in the document "Statement for the Use of Animals in Ophthalmic and Vision Research.
