International Applications in English - self-presentation skills

- IMPARARE A REDIGERE ALCUNI TIPI DI TESTO IN LINGUA INGLESE: JOB OR GRANT APPLICATIONS, CVs, COVERING LETTERS, PROJECT SUMMARIES

- COME REALIZZARE UNA PRESENTAZIONE ORALE IN LINGUA INGLESE

- TECNICHE PER IL COLLOQUIO IN LINGUA INGLESE

Learn useful techniques for making a success of applications - for bursaries, university places (graduate degree courses), internships, jobs etc - Written English - preparing CVs, applications, covering letters, project summaries etc - how to make sure that these crucial documents are appropriately worded and make the right impression - Oral English - interview techniques & oral presentations - how to present yourself effectively in interviews conducted in English & how to give short presentations in this language.

A short practical workshop to be held (in the context of the Erasmus Exchange Programme) by Prof. Dr. Jasmina Sazdovska

8/4 - ore 16.00 - preliminary meeting (Aula Reno, Via Azzo Gardino, 23)

9/4 ore 16-18 - Oral: interview techniques & oral presentations - Aula C

10/4 ore 15-17 - Written: preparing CVs, applications, covering letters, project summaries I Aula Reno

12/4 ore 11-13 - Written: preparing CVs, applications, covering letters, project summaries II - Aula Reno

Participation: Aperto a tutti gli studenti del III anno: simply indicate your intention to participate by sending an email (as soon as possible) to: peter.taylor@unibo.it You may participate in a minimum of one and (depending on availability of places) a maximum of four sessions. Please indicate clearly on which dates you would like to attend.
