Pasquale Fameli (1986) is a senior researcher at the Department of Arts of the University of Bologna, where he was awarded a doctorate in Visual, Performative and Media Arts. Specialising in historical and artistic heritage, he is artistic director of the Sabe Foundation for Art in Ravenna and scientific director of the Siri Center for the Arts in Terni. He is also editor in chief of the journal

Fameli has contributed to numerous conferences both in Italy and abroad, curated exhibitions at many Italian museums and private galleries and published essays in books, catalogues and journals. His interests are currently focused on the relationships between contemporary poetics and aesthetics in the perspective of visual studies, on the artistic practices of the seventies, on the verbal-visual experiences of the late twentieth century and on the relationships between art and new media.
