PAOLO RAVA,architect, born in 1956. He lives and does most of his work in Faenza. He graduated at the Architecture Department of Florence University, preparing his dissertation with Adolfo Natalini. Since 1989 he was been carrying out research on the theory and practice of bioecology applied to Architecture, he has also taken part in courses held at the ‘Politecnico in Milan and followed the ANAB IBN Course (Institut Fur Baubiologie+Oekologie), thus getting familiar with bioclimatic and sustainable natural Architecture.From 1994 to 1997 he worked as an assistant professor with Professor Massimo Carmassi at the Architecture Department of Ferrara University. His Studio develops all the step of architectural planning, up to the supervision of the final stage. He has also taught as an expert of sustainable bioclimatic tecniques, working as a tutor in courses an workshops on ‘Planning’ in Italy.He is an ANAB delegate.Just in charge of the Composizione Architettonica 2 Course at the Architecture Department of Ferrara University, where he has been appointed to a temporary post of Professor.
