Paolo Gajo

PhD Student at Università di Bologna, focusing on using Natural Language Processing for the study of gastronomy. Specifically, his doctoral thesis, tentatively titled "Bites and Bytes: NLP-driven Italian Gastronomy Promotion", concerns the co-creation of creative culinary recipes through ingredient substitution with graph neural networks. In addition, since 2022, he has been working on the topic of automatic (multilingual) hate speech detection.
