QUALIFICATIONS
• Degree in Psychology (Clinical and Community Psychology Address) obtained at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Bologna, with a mark of 110/110, on 07/02/2002.
• Qualification to the profession of Psychologist obtained in the year 2003.
• Visiting student at the Centre for Cognitive and Social Neuroscience (University of Chicago), from September 2004 to March 2005.
• PhD in General and Clinical Psychology, obtained at the Department of Psychology, University of Bologna, on 12/04/2006.
• Post-Doctoral research activity at the Department of Psychology of the University of Bologna, from 2004 to 2005.
• Researcher in Clinical Psychology (SSD M-PSI/08), Department of Psychology, University of Bologna, since December 23, 2008.
• National Scientific Qualification Band II. Call D.D. 1532/2016 Sector 11/E4 CLINICAL AND DYNAMIC PSYCHOLOGY.
TEACHING ACTIVITIES
Starting from the academic year 2009-2010 she was professor for the courses of "Clinical Psychology" at the degree courses in Nursing, Rimini and Ravenna, at the degree course in Speech Therapy and in the degree course in Health Care, Rimini. From the academic year 2020-2021 she is professor for Clinical Psychology Laboratories at the Master's degree course in Clinical Psychology.
Supplementary teaching and service activities for students
Thesis
Tutoring activity as speaker of the thesis in the degree courses of the School of Medicine and Surgery in Nursing, Rimini, Nursing, Ravenna, and Health, Rimini. Speaker of 23 thesis since 2012.
RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
Research topics
1. Development and individual differences in the processes of recognition and emotional response in samples of adults and children and in clinical samples. Study of the correlation between personality and emotional response assessment tools and behavioural indices in adult samples and clinical samples.
2. Emotional intelligence assessment tools and factors related to the construct of emotional intelligence in childhood and adulthood. Investigation of tools for the evaluation of emotional awareness and emotional intelligence, both as a trait and as a skill, in samples of school-age and pre-adolescent children, with particular attention to the related constructs and predictive validity of the variables examined. In adults, research has focused on the investigation of emotional intelligence assessment tools as a personality trait and related constructs.
3. Tools for evaluating attachment styles and relationship between attachment style, psychological discomfort and personality characteristics in childhood and adulthood.
4. Psychological and psychosocial factors related to psychological discomfort and stress response in the health field.
