From 1984 to 1991 she attended the Department of Pharmacology of the University of Bologna, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery.
On 28/10/95 she passed the exam for the Ph.D. title by presenting a final dissertation entitled "Clenbuterol in Veterinary Medicine: in vitro metabolism and methodology of identification in food of origin animal".
On 12/01/96 she participated, with positive results, for the assignment of the scholarship for post-doctoral research activities that she carried out at the Department of Veterinary Public Health and Animal Pathology, Pharmacology section.
From 1 April 1998 to 31 October 2010 university researcher.
