Paola Merelli

PhD student (41st cycle) in Environmental and Applied Botany at the University of Bologna, enrolled in the Earth, Life and Environmental Sciences (STVA) programme.

My project, titled "Integrated Approaches for advanced Carbon and Biodiversity monitoring" develops within the FORbEST project funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme.

It focuses on integrating field-based and modelling approaches to identify carbon-rich and biodiversity-rich forests across Europe, key ecosystems for climate change mitigation.
