Since 2014, Paola Bordandini has been an Associate Professor of Political Science in the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the University of Bologna, where she teaches “Methodology of Political and Social Sciences,” “Public Opinion Research,” and “Italian Political System.” Her work focuses on political culture, social capital, trust, and political parties transformation. She was the field co-director for the sixth round of the European Social Survey in Italy from 2013 to 2014. Currently, she is the director of the research program “Italian National Party Delegates” at the "Aldo Di Virgilio Observatory on Political Parties" (https://centri.unibo.it/osservatorio-sui-partiti-aldo-di-virgilio/en/research/research-on-national-delegates). She is also the local coordinator for the PRIN project "Italian Parties Digitalization – IPAD" and coordinates the research "Social Capital and Social Sustainability" within Spoke 8 of the PNRR PE9 – “GRINS: Growing Resilient, Inclusive, and Sustainable.” Since 2017, she has been a member of the Board of Directors at the “Istituto Carlo Cattaneo” in Bologna.
