Paola Bordandini

Since 2014, Paola Bordandini has been an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Bologna, where she teaches “Methodology of Political and Social Research,” “Public Opinion Research Methods,” and “The Italian Political System.” Her research focuses on social capital, trust, national and European identity, and party transformation. Since 2016, she has directed the Party Delegates research project at the Aldo Di Virgilio Observatory on Political Parties. She was local coordinator of the PRIN 2022 project “Italian Parties Digitalization – IPAD” and coordinated research on social capital and social sustainability within the PNRR PE9 project “GRINS: Growing Resilient, Inclusive, and Sustainable.” She is currently a member of the Surveys Committee of the Jean Monnet project “ENLARGE – European Network on Learning, Assessing, and Researching Governance in Enlargement.” She was the field co-director for the sixth round of the European Social Survey in Italy. Since 2017, she has served on the Board of Directors of the Istituto Carlo Cattaneo in Bologna.
