Pantaleo Gemma

Dr Pantaleo Gemma graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Alma Mater Studiorum-Università di Bologna. He obtained various postgraduate degrees, including the Postgraduate Specialisation in Technology and Pathology of Poultry, Rabbits and Game animals (Università degli studi di Bari), the Master's in International Veterinary Cooperation (Università degli studi di Padova), the Master's in Animal Law and Society (Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona), the Postgraduate Certificate in Dairy Herd Health (University College Dublin), the Master's in Veterinary Public Health and Food Hygiene (Università degli studi di Perugia) and the Postgraduate Diploma in International Animal Welfare, Ethics and Law (University of Edinburgh).Since 2012 he has been covering different positions in the Veterinary  Regulation Directorate within the Ministry for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Rights in Malta. At the same time, from 2017 to 2023, he worked as a Part-time Lecturer in Veterinary Nursing, Farm Animals Management, Parasitology, Microbiology & Pathology within the BSc in Animal Management and Veterinary Nursing.
