Postdoctoral researcher at the University of Bologna since May 2026, where he earned his Ph.D. in March of that same year.
His research focuses on artificial intelligence and systems engineering. Specifically, he has studied online adaptation methods (i.e., continuous and localized) for robotic agents operating both individually and in groups. He has also contributed to work in the fields of multi-agent collective systems and large language models. Other areas of interest include complex systems and the use of unconventional computing systems and methods, such as memristive systems, evolution in materio, and reservoir computing.
In addition to authoring numerous articles, he has served as co-advisor for four master’s theses and as a reviewer and program committee member for various international conferences.
