Oumaima Afif was born on January 19, 1999 in Morocco. She holds a degree in aerospace engineering from Université Internationale de Rabat, awarded in July 2022. Her master thesis, titled "Routing in CubeSat based on architecture and topology design," reflects her passion for cutting-edge aerospace technologies. Oumaima's journey is marked by diverse collaborations with foreign universities, where she has lent her expertise to projects spanning embedded systems in the aerospace, renewable energy, and automotive realms. Beyond this, her work encompasses flight control systems, signal and systems, and telecommunications for satellites. She's currently a PhD student at the University of Bologna, working on machine learning-assisted spectral sensors for environmental, structural and production management at EIT4SEMM.
