From 2012 Adjunct Professor of Otolaryngology

From 2018 Adjunct Professor of Pediatric Otolaryngology.

He carries out tutorials in Clinical Otorhinolaryngology for students attending the single cycle degree course in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Bologna. He is actively involved in the education program for Residents attending the Postgraduate School in Otorhinolaryngology and Pediatrics.

His main research interest is in the field of snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, head and neck surgery and pediatric otolaryngology.

2012 award for the best poster attributed at 5th ISSS International Symposium Surgery, Sleep & Breathing Diagnosis and Treatment in Sleep Disordered Breathing:Up to Date: (Drug induced sleep endoscopy with MAD: our experience).

2012 award from the Italian Society of Otolaryngology for the best italian paper published on international journals : (Laryngeal neuromonitoring and neurostimulation versus neurostimulation alone in thyroid surgery: a randomized clinica trial, published on Head and Neck).
