Oltion Preka is an adjunct professor at the University of Bologna since 2018. His research interests focus on two main areas of research, computational social sciences and military industry. He has some publications on these topics and others are in the peer-reviewed process. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Bologna, and he has been Research Associate at the University College Dublin (Dublin, Ireland). During 2017-2019, he has been policy and statistical consultant to Food and Agricultural Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) providing his expertise in a number of projects.
