Short Bio

Nicolò Maltoni, architect and visual artist, is a tutor of the Urban Planning Laboratory at the University of Bologna. In this area he mainly deals with analysis and representation of the contemporary urban landscape.

In 2016 he was selected by GAER as an emerging young creative artist and participated in the third edition of the Mestiere delle Arti. In 2017 he published Viaggio ad Ersilia, the first photo reportage commissioned by Arredo & Città, a journal of the Neri Foundation. A work focused on the erosion of the urban landscape in central Italy.

Since 2017 he also collaborates, as a photographer and graphic designer, with the ICS association and the Spazio Gerra cultural center in Reggio Emilia. In 2018, under the artistic direction of Andreco, he took part in the creation and realization of Intrepida, a multidisciplinary art installation at the Ex Teatro Verdi in Ferrara.
