Short Bio

A PhD candidate at the University of Bologna, he conducts research in the field of semiotics of artificial intelligence, with particular attention to processes of AI companionship and to transformations of subjectivity in interactions between humans and avatars. His work lies at the intersection of semiotics, philosophy of language, and Actor-Network Theory, adopting a post-anthropocentric perspective on human–technology relations.

He holds a Master’s degree in Global Politics and Society from the University of Milan (cum laude) and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from the University of Bologna. He has been a visiting student at the Department of Geography at the University of Kentucky and has taken part in international training and research programs, including the Summer School on Citizenship and the Politics of Contention at the University of Geneva.
