Short Bio

I graduated in 2009 at SISSA/ISAS (Triest) under the supervision of Prof.Fantechi. I study moduli theoty in algebraic geometry, in particular enumerative geometry of curves (Gromov-Witten theory) and compactification problems for the Jacobian variety of singular curves.

I have been a postdoc at KTH (Stockholm) and then for the University of Hannover. From September 2013 I have worked for the University of Liverpool (as a lecturer, then senior lecturer from October 2017 and reader from October 2023). Since 2024 I am associate professor at Bologna University.

Wednesday 1pm-2pm in my office (L7, Maths Department).

Alternatively, in a time and date to agree in person or by email. Zoom and MS Teams meetings are also possible. In such case, it is advisable for the student to access the virtual room with some means for writing (e.g. a tablet).
