Curriculum vitae

After my studies in Romance Philology and Linguistics at the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna, I obtained my PhD in 'Literary and philological cultures' at the Department of Classical and Italian Philology of the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna under the supervision of Prof. Giuseppina Brunetti and in 'Romanistik' at the Romanisches Seminar of the Universität Zürich under the supervision of Prof. Richard Trachsler. My research interests include Arthurian literature and especially the traditions of French prose novels, from Petit Cycle to Vulgate, the intertextuality and interference between different medieval textual traditions, the narrative cycling. I studied the reception of Antiquity in the Middle Ages, especially in 13th and 14th century Italy, focusing on classical sources in Giovanni Boccaccio's early works. I am a member of the 'Società Italiana di Filologia Romanza', of the ‘International Arthurian Society - Société Internationale Arthurienne’, of the ‘Société de Linguistique Romane’ and of the 'Centre for Contemporary Poetry' of the University of Bologna.
