I am a Marie Curie Fellow working on Project FAITH, funded by the European Commission. I received a BA and a Master’s degree from Beijing Foreign Studies University and my PhD at the University of Hong Kong. I completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at Hong Kong Baptist University with Professor Minhua Liu. My research focuses on the intersection of interpreting, computational and corpus linguistics, and cognitive linguistics. I have worked on how professional, social and linguistic norms interact with the human cognition to shape the process, product and reception of interpreting.
I am a certified translator and interpreter and worked as an ad hoc simultaneous interpreter at the United Nations Geneva Office and in private and public sectors for publicly listed companies, embassies, and governments.
