  1. FORMATION

    June 30, 1995

    Graduation as a Rehabilitation therapist, with an experimental thesis on a topic of neuropsychology entitled “Is one hand better than two? Experimental study on four patients who suffer Neglect”.

    Final vote: 70 and praise

    The thesis’ subject of study has been deepened and widened with the addition of six new cases and then published in a scientific English journal:

    “NEUROCASE” (1999) Vol.5, pp.143-151

  3. TEACHING

In the academic years 2007/08, 2008/09, 2009/10, 2011/12 I lectured at the Degree Course for Physiotherapists at the University of Bologna – Cesena, for teaching:

“Clinical diagnosis in neurological rehabilitation”

From the academic year 2013/14 until today, teaching activity at the Degree Course for Physiotherapists at the University of Bologna – Cesena, for the twelve-hour seminar:

“Neuropsychological rehabilitation”

I organized and taught as a only teacher, a theoretical and practical Refresher Course at the USL (Forlì) accredited CME aimed at doctors, physiotherapists, nurses and OSS, entitled:

“Neuropsychology of head injury”

The course, lasted 4 meetings, was held for the first time in days:

8th, 9th, 10th, 12th of November 2004

And was repeated one second time in days:

29th, 30th of November, 1st, 3rd of November 2004

I participated as a teacher to the Training Course “A sexuality for everyone”, organized by ASS.I.PRO.V (Centre for Voluntary Service) and inserted in the project Different Abilities 2005. The Course was aimed at both health care and social workers, volunteers, patients and their families.

I have participated in 3 meetings:

26/10/2015 “Sexuality and disability” (along with the other three teachers)

18/11/2005 “Sexuality and people with acquired brain injuries” (alone)

02/12/2005 “Sexuality and disability: a still hard conjugation?” (along with the other three teachers)

I participated as a teacher to the Training Course:

“Sexuality and disability: an adventure for two”

Organized by the USL (Cesena), accredited CME and held in Cesena from the 13th of October 2006 to the 27th of October 2006

I held a Continuing Training Course lasting 75 hours between February and June 2008, accredited CME both for the teaching (15) and the participants (15), aimed at speech therapists at the U.O. Rehabilitation Medicine at the hospital in Cesenatico:

“The management of patients with acquired brain injury with cognitive-behavioral disorders during the hospitalization in Rehabilitation Medicine: application of the assessment tools and implementation of Therapeutic Goals”

Held theoretical and practical training course addressed to doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, OSS, social workers, educators, accredited CME both for the teaching (80 credits) and the participants (28 credits), organized by the USL (Cesena), held in Cesena from the 16th May 2008 to the 4th December 2008 entitled:

“The overall care of the patient with severe acquired brain injury (GRACER): from the hospital to the territorial stage”

Participants were divided into two groups, so each lesson was repeated twice. The lectures were as follows:

“Assessment and rehabilitation of cognitive and behavioral disorders in patients with a severe acquired brain injury: basic course”

I held a theoretical and practical Training Course in cooperation with other teachers, addressed to doctors, speech therapists, physical therapists, nurses, OSS, accredited CME, organized by USL of Ravenna it took place at the hospital in Lugo (RA) from the 29/09/2011 to the 20/10/2011 entitled:

“The GRACER route: the rehabilitation and the hospital phases”

Participants were divided into two groups, so each lesson was repeated twice and the dates of the days were as follows:

29/09/2011, 06/10/2011, 13/10/2011, 20/10/2011

I held a Training Course as a only teacher, on 19/04/2013, at the Ausl of Cesena, accredited CME, aimed at doctors, speech therapists and physiotherapists, entitled:

“Computer evaluation of cognitive abilities for driving vehicles: use of the TAP system”

From 2010, after a selection based on the curriculum, I am part of the list of technical experts for Second Opinion, at the Ausl of Ravenna, for cognitive-behavioral disorders
