Muhammad Yasir Khan

Muhammad Khan is a PhD student in Automotive Engineering for Intelligent Mobility at the University of Bologna, Italy, and a visiting research scholar at Oakland University, United States.

His research focuses on developing assessment and optimization tools for threaded joint systems. He uses an integrated approach that combines Machine Learning (ML) with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to explore various bolt layouts, sizes, tightening strategies, and the effects of elastic interactions between bolts.
