Monica Forni

Associate Professor of Veterinary Physiology since 2001. She deals with vascular cell biology using in vivo, in vitro and ex vivo animal models.

She has been interested in the management and quality aspects of teaching and research with regard to reproducibility in particular in research based on the use of experimental animals and the promotion of the 3Rs.

The objectives of her research and third mission activities include the dissemination of the culture of Open Science in its various aspects, in particular data management.

Member of the Presidium for the Quality Assurance of Teaching at the University of Bologna (2016-2019).

Member of the CIQA (Internal Quality Assessment Committee) of EAEVE (European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education), ENQA member (2014-2020).

Expert evaluator for Quality Assurance aspects of courses in Veterinary Medicine for EAEVE.

System expert for AVA visits (ANVUR).

GEV of area 07 for VQR 2015-2019 and 2020-2024
