Mohammed Hamdouni

PhD candidate in Ethnomusicology at the department of arts, University of Bologna, researching "Marginal Resistance at the Crossroads of Beliefs" in Moroccan Jewish Gnaoua culture. My journey started with a BA in Communication and Media at USMBA University, Fez, leading to a deep dive into communications at Hassan II University, Casablanca, and legal sociological studies in Turin. My work bridges music, culture, and social dynamics, reflecting my engagements as a lecturer and participant in global symposiums on Moroccan cultural heritage. My multi-lingual proficiency aids my interdisciplinary research, aiming to illuminate the transformative power of music in societal change.
