Miriana Vicino is a second-year PhD student at the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences of the University of Bologna.
Her research focuses on improving soybean agronomic management through the use of microbial biostimulants, investigating the complex interactions within the root-soil-microbiota system. Her current work aims to evaluate the effects of these biostimulants on soybean yield and quality, while exploring their potential to mitigate water stress. This research seeks to support sustainable crop diversification in Europe and identify adaptive solutions to climate change.
