I am a PhD student in history of science at the University of Bologna, in joint supervision with the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris. My research focuses on knowledge related to animal husbandry in Italy between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, and extends to animal care practices in the early modern period, at the intersection of history of science, food history, environmental history, and animal history.

2024 – present PhD in Philosophy, Science, Cognition and Semiotics (Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna), in joint supervision with the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (Centre de Recherches Historiques, Paris).
