Short Bio


Full Professor of Geometry at the University of Bologna from 1.11.1990 to 31.10.2023, she carries out her research in the field of commutative algebra and algebraic geometry, dealing in particular with multiplicity theory and intersection theory, also using computer algebra tools. Currently she is also interested in the dissemination of topics in algebra and geometry and coordinates the activities of the Mathematics Area of the "Piano Lauree Scientifiche" (Scientific Degrees Plan) at the University of Bologna.
