Miranda Occhionero is Associate Professor in General Psychology and Disfunctional Cognitive Processes at the University of Bologna. She carries out research at Department of Psychology where she leads the Psychophysiology of Sleep and Dreaming Lab.
She received degree in Medicine from the University of Bologna, specialization in Neurology from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, and PhD in Experimental Psychology from the University of Bologna. During the PhD she spent a period at the Department of Psychology and the Rotman Institute of the University of Toronto.
Her research interests deal with Psychophysiology of sleep and dreaming and Cognitive Psycology, in particular consciousness and memory.
