Micol Meghnagi, PhD researcher at the University of Bologna. Her work focuses on memory politics and social representations of the Holocaust and colonialism, with particular attention to the dialogue between Holocaust Studies and postcolonial studies. She is a Research Fellow in the European project CONCILIARE – Confidently Changing Colonial Heritage (Horizon Europe, 2024–2027) at Sapienza University of Rome and a Visiting Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley (2026–2027).
Past Research Fellow at the Centre for War Studies, University College Dublin (2022-2024) where she studied the construction of public memory of the Holocaust and social representations of Fascist collaboration in Italy. She holds an MSc in Global Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Among her recent publications; All’ombra della Shoah. Decolonizzazione e politiche della memoria (Fandango, 2026).
