Short Bio

As a second-year doctoral candidate, I'm delving into the intricacies of the visual system, with a specific focus on regions lining the parieto-occipital sulcus. My research approach, complementary to the electrophysiological experiments, blends sophisticated anatomical methods with cutting-edge algorithms based onto the Grey Level Index, written in Matlab, to discern different concentrations of neurons across various cortical layers.

Moreover, I'm meticulously conducting 3D reconstructions of neurons to explore their morphology and diverse physical attributes through a powerful programme (Neurolucida 360). Through these comprehensive methodologies, my aim is to shed light on the intricate process of transforming the visual stimuli into motor responses.
