My research sits at the intersection of computational physics, applied mathematics, computer science, engineering and musical cultural heritage preservation.
My main research focus is the simulation of nonlinear oscillations, for the purpose of sound synthesis via physics-based modelling, as well as in the context of nonlinear dynamical systems and wave turbulence.
Further research themes include room acoustics simulation, musical interface design for the purpose of cultural heritage preservation, experimental modal analysis and inverse acoustic modelling in the context of elastic constant estimation.
