Short Bio

MA in European Studies, he was a PhD scholarship holder at the Graduate School of Historical Studies. He has held visiting fellowships at the University of London (LSE), Cambridge, Queensland, Brown University, and the Bruno Kessler Foundation at Trento. He lectured in Montréal (UM), Milan (San Raffaele) and Rome (LUISS). A Life Member of Clare Hall college at Cambridge, he is a 2019 ISA Topic prize winner from the Institute of Advanced Studies. He is part of the Rivista di politica editorial committee and director of the Research Centre for International Relations in San Marino. He collaborates with the Institute of the Italian Encyclopedia Treccani. His writings has been published by Oxford and Cambridge University Press, Tirant Lo Blanch, the Palgrave Macmillan History of International Thought Series as well as in several journals including History of European Ideas, il Pensiero Politico, International Relations and Global Change, Peace & Security. He holds a standing photo-exhibition at the Gaddi Pavillion in Forlì, and an iconic sculpture on the church of Sant'Anna in San Marino. An  ambassador in Sarajevo, he is 6th dan Taekwondo black belt.
