Michela Contessi

Conservator at the Geological Collection “Giovanni Capellini Museum” of the Bologna Museum University Network.
She was first in love with dinosaurs at the age of 5 and, as sometimes happens, she never grew up. She first specialized in ichnology, studying dinosaur and tetrapod footprints, but now her work and research interest space from paleontology to the history of geosciences, with a special regard to museums and collection management.
Working in a (old) Museum is quite a unique experience, everyday you get a new challenge, and digging in the past always unravels old exciting stories.
