Project: Characterization of fertility, C and nutrient stocks, and macroelements recycling in chestnut soils. Supervised by prof. Livia Vittori Antisari. Tasks: study of physical, chemical, biochemical and biological properties of chestnut orchard soils.

01/08/2018 – 31/07/2019: grant research fellowship at Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Perugia, Perugia, Italy. Project: Life Cycle Assessment of the olive oil and wine supply chains to increase the environmental and economic sustainability of farms. Supervised by prof. Giovanni Gigliotti. Tasks: physical and chemical analysis of soil samples from olive orchards and vineyards.

13/02/2017 – 12/02/2018: Term-contract worker at the Department of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences, University of Perugia, Perugia, Italy. Tasks: chemical analysis of plant and soil samples in order to evaluate the physico-chemical characteristics of ceramic substrates/products able to release nutrients, in particular iron, and the effects of such ceramic substrates/products on the physiology and growth of herbaceous and arboreal plants.
