Maurizio Betti
Training
Graduated in Statistical and Demographic Sciences in 1993 at the Faculty of Statistics, University of Bologna; he obtained a Master's Degree in Education, specializing in educational assessment in 2000 at the Universidad de la Frontera, Chile and a Master's Degree in Sociedad de la Información y del Conocimiento in 2004 at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, Spain; he received his PhD in Pedagogical Sciences in 2018 at the University of Bologna.
Academic career
Researcher and Professor (from 1996 to 2008) for the Universidad Católica de Temuco, Chile, at the Facultad de Educación.
At the same university he was Director of the Technical Pedagogical Department (1999-2000) and Academic Secretary (2001-2003) of the Facultad de Educación. In the period 2004-2007 he was General Director of Technology (Vice-rector for technology) of the Universidad Católica de Temuco.
Lecturer and teaching tutor (from 2010 to the current date) for the University of Bologna, first at the Faculty of Education and later at the Department of Education.
Teaching activity
From 1996 to 2008 he continued teaching as a holder of various courses for Degree Courses at the Facultad de Educación of the Universidad Católic de Temuco, Chile.
From 2010 until today, he is a teacher and tutor for the Degree Courses, first at the Faculty of Education and later at the Department of Education, University of Bologna.
Work as a teacher
From 2015 until now, he has been a mathematics teacher at various secondary education institutions in the province of Bologna.
Activity as a trainer
He has participated in numerous teacher training programs at various educational institutions in the region.
