PhD in Sociology and Social Research (37th cycle). His research focuses on housing and the real estate market, with a particular interest in student housing and its interaction with financial dynamics. He also investigates processes of touristification, especially in connection with the short-term rental market and the Airbnb platform. He has conducted research on social housing as well.
He was a visiting scholar at KU Leuven (supervisor: Manuel Aalbers) and Université Libre de Bruxelles (supervisor: Mathieu Van Criekingen).
He received the PhD Bologna Award 2025, promoted by Banca di Bologna and the University of Bologna, and the ISA Doctoral Prize 2023, awarded by the Institute of Advanced Studies, University of Bologna.
