Matteo Greppi is a Post-Doc Researcher in the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Bologna. He graduated with a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bologna in 2008. Then he followed a second-level professional Master's Programme (RIDEF) at the Politecnico of Milan (renewable energy, energy efficiency and distributed power generation) in 2009. He completed his PhD (Doctor Europaeus) at the University of Bologna in Energy Engineering in 2013. His research and publications are mainly focused on studying and prototyping new innovative solar energy hybrid panels for industrial and residential sector and integrated thermoelectric apparatus for PV cooling. Other research topics are experimental analysis of heat sinks efficiency and computational fluid dynamics studies with open source software related to different academic and industrial problems.Reviewer: International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, Energies.
