Matteo Cianfaglione

I'm a PhD candidate of the 40th cycle at the Radioastronomy Institute of Bologna (IRA - INAF) and at the University of Bologna, in the Physics and Astrophysics Department (DiFA). My research activity is focues on the study of the large scale diffuse radio emission in galaxy clusters, with a focus at low (< 2 GHz) and ultra-low (< 100 MHz) frequencies. I primarly work with data from LOFAR and MeerKAT.

I got my bachelor degree in Astronomy and master degree in Astrophysics and Cosmology at the University of Bologna and I started my PhD in 2024 under the supervision of Dr. Francesco De Gasperin and Dr. Virginia Cuciti.
