Matteo Cassani Simonetti is Associate Professor of History of Architecture, his field of study is Italian architecture of the second half of the 20th century.
Education
He graduated in architecture at the Facoltà di Architettura, Università di Ferrara (2010), and he obtained his PhD in Architecture from the Dipartimento di Architettura, Università di Bologna (2014).
Academic career
From 2014–15 to 2016–17, he was a Lecturer in the History of Architecture at the Dipartimento di Architettura, Università di Bologna; at the same Department, he was a fixed-term Research Fellow (type A) between 2017 and 2019 and, since 2019, a fixed-term Research Fellow (type B). Since 2022, he has been an Associate Professor of History of Architecture and, since 2024, Co-ordinator of the PhD Programme in Architecture and Design Cultures.
